My name is Ignacio.
I got into my photography journey since I was given my first camera with thirteen years old. After that, the need to express and share ideas had only just begun. I had always been a creative and imaginative person, loving every single aspect of art, from writing to playing the piano but ultimately, the camera became the precious tool that served the purpose of fulfilling my inner vision.
I started working as a self-taught surf photographer when I was fifteen years old. What a rush! However, time went by and I decided to try a bigger field. Next thing I knew, I was in California studying cinema production alongside theatre at LMU university in Los Angeles. I was lucky, to say the least, to have fully lived that beautiful and dreamlike experience for those years, being on the road through USA during that time whenever I could.
I am now currently living in Spain. However, I usually find myself travelling again in order to pursue my insatiable hunger of freedom and learning. I share the photographs I take along the road with the knowledge I gathered along my journey, from people to landscapes, everything in between, both film and digital, as long as they inspire or tell a meaningful story from an artistic point of view.
